Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Maintenance Coach to support, develop, and mentor maintenance technicians on shift, ensuring successful execution of production and maintenance processes.

You will coordinate daily schedules, remove barriers, and drive continuous improvements while adhering to safety and environmental requirements. The role reports to the Manager and involves cross-functional collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field from an accredited university.
• Associate’s Degree in a technical field with at least seven years of maintenance/manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma with at least nine years of maintenance/manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of five years of maintenance/manufacturing experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable in high-speed or automated systems (Filling, Formulation, Inspection, Assembly, Bulk manufacturing, Packaging, Utilities, or HVAC).
• Experience driving process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a maintenance advocate, coordinating daily schedule and enabling maintenance to run optimally.
• Coaches maintenance technicians.
• Executes process confirmation of maintenance standards and seeks improvements for quality and compliance.
• Coaches maintenance Event Response process.
• Visualizes/Tracks events and actions.
• Ensures documentation in SAP and log books.
• Executes shift maintenance plan and closes work orders.
• Implements process improvements and follows safety and environmental requirements.
