Job summary

Discovery Life Sciences LLC is seeking a Production Specialist in Quincy, MA to support processing, testing, and logistics of human primary cell products. On-site role, part-time with Tuesday shifts required, offering hourly pay and a dynamic lab environment.

You will handle aseptic processing, QC testing, inventory management, packaging, and logistics while collaborating with teams to ensure quality and timely delivery. Prior lab and logistics experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of paid lab experience performing aseptic techniques per SOPs.
• 1 year in logistics or material management.
• Excellent time management, punctuality and reliability.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize aseptic technique in a Biosafety Cabinet to process bulk human tissues per SOPs.
• Perform QC testing (cell counting and viability) and release for shipment.
• Manage Work Orders, Assembly Builds, Material Transfers, and Fulfillment in NetSuite.
• Maintain consumable inventory and perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments in NetSuite.
• Oversee General Lab, Facility and Equipment Maintenance (PMs, Calibrations, repairs).
• Handle controlled temperature packaging and logistics (scheduling, labeling) for couriers.
• Provide customer service and vendor management.
• Handle and dispose of biological waste.
