Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical in Quincy, MA is seeking a Lab Technician for a temporary six-month assignment. Shift is Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm, with compensation at $25-$27 per hour. The role involves aseptic processing, QC testing, inventory management in NetSuite, and coordination of packaging and logistics for shipments.

The ideal candidate has 2 years’ lab experience with aseptic SOPs and at least 1 year in logistics/material management, plus strong time management and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Process bulk human tissues in a Biosafety Cabinet using aseptic technique per SOPs
• Perform QC testing (cell counting and viability) and release determinations for shipment
• Manage Work Orders, Assembly Builds, Material Transfers, and Fulfillment in NetSuite
• Maintain consumable inventory, cycle counts, receiving and put-away in NetSuite
• Oversee general Lab, Facility and Equipment Maintenance (PMs, calibrations, repairs)
• Handle packaging and logistics for Commercial and local carriers, with scheduling and labeling
• Dispose of biological waste
• Support other duties as assigned

Kelly Science & Clinical has a new temporary opportunity for a Lab Technician in Quincy, MA!

Temporary – 6 months
Shift: M-F 7am-4pm
Compensation: $25-27/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilizing aseptic technique in a Biosafety Cabinet to process bulk human tissues per established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform quality control (QC) testing (cell counting and viability testing) of produced products and evaluation of tested parameters against established specifications and determining release for shipment
• Management and execution of Work Orders, Assembly Builds, Material Transfers, and Fulfillment tasks, including data recording and troubleshooting within NetSuite ERP
• Maintenance of consumable inventory (ordering, cycle counting, inventory adjustments in NetSuite, receiving, put away)
• Management of General Lab, Facility and Equipment Maintenance (Equipment PMs, Calibrations, repairs, etc.)
• Performance of controlled temperature packaging and logistics activities (scheduling, system entry, labeling) for Commercial (Fed Ex) and independent (local couriers) carriers. Customer service and vendor management
• Handling and disposing of biological waste
• Other duties as assigned
