Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks a capable lab support specialist to receive, log, and manage samples, maintain inventories, and handle outgoing shipments. You will keep the stockroom organized, track reagents, and assist with daily lab duties, including waste disposal and equipment calibration.

The role requires an Associate degree in Life Science or a HS diploma with 5+ years lab experience, plus familiarity with LIMS/SAP and MS Office tools. Shift 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Mon–Fri, with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Life Science or HS diploma with 5+ years lab experience.
• Experience in a cGMP environment following pharma guidelines such as 21 CFR 210/211 or ICH Q7A.
• Strong lab safety knowledge and proper clean-room habits.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and manage samples, retain inventories, and outgoing shipments.
• Keep stockroom organized, track inventory, and order reagents.
• Handle daily lab support duties, including washing glassware, disposing of waste, and keeping work areas clean.
• Perform basic calibration and maintenance on equipment like balances and pH meters.
• Follow cGMP guidelines, safety rules, and procedures to ensure right-first-time quality.
• Help with team process improvements and extra lab support duties as needed.
