Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1–2 years’ work experience required.
• Prior experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is required.
• Previous experience in dispensing, compounding, aseptic filling, or visual inspection is desirable.
• NC Bioworks certificate will be considered without manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute manufacturing operations, including setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment used in dispensing, compounding, filling (isolators), and visual inspection.
• Become a subject matter expert on compounding/filling processes and equipment.
• Perform production processes following SOPs and batch records; contribute to deviations discussions to maintain quality.
• Conduct in-process and end-of-process sampling and quality checks.
• Identify inefficiencies and escalate to supervision to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate production documentation with minimal errors; suggest revisions.
• Comply with cGMP and company training requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in general manufacturing technologies and SOPs.
• Perform basic math calculations and component counting during processes.
• Follow safety instructions and PPE requirements; work in a compliant manner.
• Work occasional hours outside schedule as business needs require.
