Job summary

Ferring Holding SA in Parsippany, NJ seeks an Operator I, Production to perform aseptic processing in a Grade A/B cleanroom. You will setup and operate sterilization and filling equipment, handle materials, and maintain strict cGMP documentation.

Responsibilities include participating in validations, collaborating with QA/QC/Maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement. Weekend/holiday coverage is required as production schedules dictate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational education is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience in pharmaceutical/biopharma/biotech aseptic clean room environments.
• Knowledge of aseptic gowning/ techniques, cleanroom protocols, and cGMP.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and SOPs.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as production schedules require.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and wear PPE

Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic processing tasks in cGMP areas, including cleaning and sterilization operations.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate aseptic processing equipment such as isolators and filling machines.
• Assist with initial/subsequent validation of new areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, and Maintenance to troubleshoot issues and resolve deviations.
• Participate in aseptic process simulations and in-process inspections.
• Maintain logbooks, forms, and batch records per cGMP and Good Documentation Practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and waste reduction.
• Complete initial aseptic gowning and qualification for Grade A/B environments.
