Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Bacterins Operator for 1st shift (M-F, 6:00am - 2:30pm) to handle media addition, inoculation, downstreaming, dispensing and final filtration of live and inactivated bacterial antigen. The role requires independent work with adherence to SOPs and cGMP practices.

Responsibilities include aseptic production operations, equipment handling for antigen production, inventory management, and strict attendance to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to train others.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures.
• Document operations with strict adherence to cGMP documentation practices.
• Demonstrated analytical skill / problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic operations for production processes in the Bacterin area.
• Operate automated and semi-automated equipment used for antigen production.
• Assemble, wrap, sterilize, deliver and inventory bacterin equipment and tanks.
• Routine and consistent attendance is necessary and important to safety and policies.
