Job summary

VIP, Inc is seeking an ASE Technician to perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance work on customer vehicles. The technician will follow VIP processes, ensure accurate work orders, and maintain strict safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing systems, sourcing parts, and training to maintain ASE certifications. A non-exempt hourly position with standard 40-hour weeks and ongoing safety training is provided.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, manuals, or regulations.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers and coworkers.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on vehicles.
• Ensure Service Work Orders are initiated and tracked.
• Complete required training and certifications for the position.
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Follow VIP processes for quality service and customer engagement.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as needed.
