Job summary

NAPA, a part of Genuine Parts Company, is hiring a Parts Professional to deliver prompt, courteous service in-store and over the phone. You will look up parts, process orders accurately, and advise customers on the best options to meet their needs.

The role requires strong product knowledge, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with familiarity in catalog and POS systems. ASE Parts Specialist certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent, required
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with customers
• Capable of recognizing part numbers and line codes accurately
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Enjoy fast-paced work and stay calm under pressure
• ASE Parts Specialist (automotive) certified
• Able to operate a vehicle with manual transmission
• Able to work retail hours at any store location as assigned by management

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to customers in-store, on the phone, or at the dealer.
• Look up parts using catalogs or POS system and process orders accurately.
• Advise customers on parts to meet their needs and handle technical questions.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, sales programs, and store policies to customers.
• Assist and advise other store personnel as a resource.
