Job summary

Suburban Mazda of Troy is seeking a Service Technician – Class B to perform repairs per repair orders, diagnose issues, and road-test vehicles to ensure quality. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and manufacturer training with three to five years of automotive experience.

You will maintain an organized workspace, handle tools, and pursue ASE and manufacturer certifications as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills expected.
• Competency: passed manufacturer training and can perform repairs in listed areas with no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repairs per repair order.
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality of repair work.
• Document work performed and test procedures/results accurately.
• Maintain organized workspace and inventory of tools and shop supplies.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications through training.
