Job summary

SkyWest Airlines in Aspen, Colorado is seeking a Customer Service Agent to provide front-line service to our passengers. You will greet passengers, issue tickets, assign seats, check baggage, rebook when needed, and assist travelers with special-needs requests in a prompt, friendly manner.

This full-time position starts at $20 per hour and requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in airline or travel industry preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Flexible schedule including split shifts and non-standard hours

Responsibilities

Primary Job Duties

As a Customer Service Agent, you will provide excellent front-line service to our passengers.

• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Assist passengers with special-needs and resolve customer complaints
• Communicate clearly with ground personnel and flight crews
• Calmly handle situations such as canceled and delayed flights
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for individuals with a passion for customer service, especially within the airline industry! SkyWest Customer Service Agents come from a wide range of backgrounds, education, interests, and experiences. To apply, you only need to meet the following criteria:

• 18 years of age or older
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Due to irregular operations or operational disruptions, employees may occasionally be required to remain at work beyond their scheduled end time
• This is a full-time position, starting at $20 per hour
• This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
