Job summary
Waste Pro Lake Charles LA is seeking certified B Technicians to diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy and light duty trucks, including gasoline, diesel and CNG variants. Welding and fabrication may be required.
We offer a comprehensive pay range based on proven skills, ASE certification support with fee reimbursement, monthly tool allowance up to $50, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision and life insurance,
Qualifications
- Diagnose and repair heavy and light duty trucks across multiple systems.
- Proficient use of diagnostic tools and reference to service manuals.
- Ability to estimate time and material for repairs.
- Mentor junior technicians and support shop operations.
- CDL Class B preferred within 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs to maximize safe operations.
- Communicate issues with drivers and managers to prevent future repairs.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
- Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean work area.
- Utilize vehicle electronics to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
- Conduct safety checks and follow OEM service procedures.
