Job summary

Waste Pro Lake Charles La is actively hiring certified B Technicians to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes and hydraulic/electrical systems on heavy- and light-duty trucks. Welding/fabrication may be required; team orientation and safety come first.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of suspension inspections, diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of brake system inspection, diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical system inspection, diagnosis and repair.
• Knowledge of hydraulic system inspection, diagnosis and repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses mechanical problems and performs repairs and maintenance on equipment.
• Communicates with managers/drivers about vehicle issues and preventive techniques.
• Completes all required paperwork in a timely and concise manner.
• Follows safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area per corporate and OSHA standards.
• Uses vehicle computer electronics to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Repairs using Factory Service Manuals.
• Maintains high standards of ethics and dependability.
