Job summary

Cox Automotive in Colorado is hiring an Auto Maintenance Technician II to perform skilled maintenance and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems, diagnose drivability issues, and document inspections and deficiencies with care. You’ll support safety and quality standards while working on modern vehicles.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with related experience (or a degree/cert), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate standard, automatic, and electric

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years related work experience, or 1 year with a degree/certification, or 5 years without a degree.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled maintenance and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and drivability issues, including brakes, tires, suspension and related components.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs across key systems, including starting and charging AC, OBDII and electrical systems.
• Complete detailed mechanical inspections, including required measurements, and document any deficiencies across interior, exterior, engine and driveline components.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards, including proper handling of recyclables, fluids, tires and waste.
• Assist with upfitting new vehicles with required equipment.
• Source and manage parts through approved vendors.
• Support additional service needs, including OEM recall work as required.
