Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to service a diverse fleet of newer vehicles across brands in New York. The role emphasizes essential repairs, preventive maintenance, and hands-on learning under supervision.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of auto repair experience or automotive coursework, plus ASE certification, and the ability to obtain more within the first year. On-site work with comprehensive benefits and training is provided.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
Working knowledge of ASE areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Light Vehicle/Diesel
Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision.
Oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs.
You may also support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you continue to build your skills.
