Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform essential repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles. The role requires ASE certifications, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a focus on safety and reliability to keep customers on the road.

You will participate in on-the-job training, support senior technicians, and benefit from a comprehensive package including insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision.
• Conduct oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs.
• Support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you build your skills.
• Ensure vehicle reliability and safety to reduce downtime and support a positive customer experience.
