Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Indianapolis to perform essential mechanical repairs and routine maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles. You will handle oil changes, brake work, tires, suspension, and warranty-related repairs with minimal supervision, while supporting senior techs as you grow your skills.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of auto repair experience or relevant coursework, 1 ASE cert (plus room to obtain 2 more within the first year).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 more within the first year.
• Working knowledge of ASE areas including engine, brakes, suspension, electrical.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles.
• Oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostic and repair work as you build skills.
