Job summary

Colonial Group in Manchester, NH seeks an ASE Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, following VIP processes and safety standards. The role requires ASE certifications (A-series) progression and adherence to work orders, MPI, and customer engagement practices.

The technician will handle parts, cores, tires, and maintain shop safety and productivity. The successful candidate will perform engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, and A-series ASE tasks, and pursue state inspections

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions for basic automotive problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workplace safety as priority and follow safety policies.
• Provide diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for automotive systems.
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and displayed with the vehicle.
• Complete MPI and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Return parts and manage cores, batteries, and tires per policy.
• Maintain productivity targets and safety compliance.
