Job summary

Big O Tires Store in Olathe, KS seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and service customer vehicles, following MFA Oil policies and ASE-certified career paths. You will support shop operations, coaching teammates, and ensuring accurate invoicing while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a lube/tire/service technician.
• Current Motor Vehicle Inspection License (for Missouri based stores).
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to exchange accurate information with customers.
• Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materials.
• Ability to consistently work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake, front end and alignment maintenance and other mechanical work per company policies.
• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles and ensure quality control of shop functions.
• Train and coach other employees as directed.
• Maintain workflow to meet productivity targets and budgeted quotas.
• Ensure accurate information is provided for invoicing.
• Participate in required training and vehicle inspection programs.
• Adhere to PPE regulations and safety protocols.
