Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is hiring a Service Center Automotive Technician in Onalaska, WI to perform a wide range of automotive services in our Automotive Service Center. Responsibilities include tires, brakes, oil changes, batteries, wheel balancing, and related repairs with a focus on customer service.

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 - $23.00/hr, with Saturday/Sunday weekend premium pay and a comprehensive benefits package after 91 days of full-time employment, including medical, dental, vision,

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and some weekends.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior auto repair experience preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of automotive services in the Service Center.
• Repair and install tires, balance wheels, and service batteries and lighting.
• Perform oil changes and brake system work.
• Repair starting/charging systems, steering, suspension, and alignments.
• Install trailer hitches and wiring; complete other duties with training.
