Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Wisconsin is seeking an Automotive Service Center Technician. You will perform tire repairs, oil changes, and a range of automotive services with a strong emphasis on customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to work evenings and weekends, and the flexibility to pass pre-employment screenings. Prior auto repair or retail experience is preferred; Michigan certifications may apply for Michigan stores.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Able to work evenings and at least every other weekend.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Must read and speak English.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Prior auto repair experience is preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Michigan stores only: ASE A4 and A6 certifications for Tech Level II; ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 certifications for Tech Level III or equivalent Michigan certifications.

Responsibilities

• Excellent customer service.
• Repair and install tires.
• Balance wheels.
• Install batteries, head lamps and other basic automotive parts.
• Perform oil changes.
• Brake system repair.
• Repair starting and charging systems.
• Steering and suspension.
• Shock/strut installation.
• Alignments.
• Installation of trailer hitches and wiring.
• Other duties assigned with progressive on the job training.
