Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Wisconsin seeks a Service Center Automotive Technician to join our automotive service team. You’ll perform tire repair and installation, wheel balancing, oil changes, battery and headlamp installs, and brake work with a focus on quality and safety.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00–$27.00 per hour with a $2.50 weekend premium. Benefits begin after 91 days for full-time associates, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and an associate

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and at least every other weekend.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
• Able to read and speak English.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior auto repair experience preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Michigan stores only: ASE A4/A6 certs for Tech II; ASE A3/A4/A5/A6 for Tech III.

Responsibilities

• Provide automotive services in the shop.
• Repair and install tires and balance wheels.
• Install batteries and headlights.
• Perform oil changes.
• Brake system repair and starting/charging system work.
• Assist with steering, suspension, alignments, and trailer wiring.
• Other duties as assigned with progressive on-the-job training.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate with customers.
