Dobbs Tire & Auto Center in Olivette, MO is hiring an Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic – ASE Certified. The role offers 40 hours weekly with a flag rate pay structure, and pay from $20.00 to $45.00 per hour based on experience. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, perform tire services, alignments, and inspections, and document work while delivering professional customer service to customers.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general maintenance.
• Possess Missouri state inspection certification or obtain one as required.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Collaborate with team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely.
