Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in Aurora, CO. You will provide individualized instruction, develop IEPs, and create inclusive learning environments that help students succeed. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position starting ASAP for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Colorado CDE teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Fingerprinting required for the position.
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
