Job summary

Shrub Oak International School in New York is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide transdisciplinary pediatric services for autistic students across educational, residential, and community settings.

You will perform evaluations, design individualized therapy plans, collaborate with teachers, nurses, and families, and promote mobility, safety, and participation while maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist with pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent documentation and clinical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations addressing mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and gait.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide services within a transdisciplinary care model.
• Assess adaptive equipment and environmental modifications for safety and independence.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and clinical reporting.
