Job summary

Bloomington Public Schools is seeking a Program Management Support Paraprofessional, 1:1 with a student in the RISE Autism program at Ridgeview Elementary School. This role involves providing behavioral and academic support under licensed staff supervision, for 3.5 hours per day, five days per week, 180 days per year.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 60 credits post-secondary education or passing Para Pro exam, and PCA certification (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in special education settings.
• Requires High School Diploma; 60 college credits or ParaPro exam.
• PCA certification or ability to obtain is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students academically under licensed staff supervision.
• Support daily living and behavioral/emotional goals in class.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with case managers.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff on tasks.
