Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions in Elkton, MD seeks a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in office and ASC settings, enter patient intake and orders into the EMR, collect vital signs, and support patient flow.

Responsibilities include assisting with pre-op and recovery, maintaining infection control, and documenting records while upholding HIPAA and customer service standards. A high school diploma and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have current BLS certification.
• Experience with EMR and patient data entry preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Assist in bringing patients to pre-op, recovery and discharge.
• Maintain infection control, safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist nursing staff with vitals, histories and documentation.
• Set up sterile fields and assist procedures as needed.
