Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions in Pasadena, MD is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care under physician guidance. You will enter patient intake information and provider orders into the EMR, request medical records, and support patient flow.

You will verify patient information, take vitals, prepare exam rooms, dispense educational materials, and assist with lab and radiology coordination. A strong customer-service approach and HIPAA knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, or EMS certification or training.
• One year of prior medical practice experience and EMR use preferred.
• BLS certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Request medical records and verify patient information.
• Record vital signs and medical history; prepare examination spaces.
• Assist with patient flow and educational materials.
• Maintain rooms, sterilize equipment, and keep supplies stocked.
• Relay provider orders and coordinate tests with labs/radiology.
