Yahoo is seeking an Accounting Manager focused on Technical Lease Accounting and Financial Reporting to support ASC 842 compliance and monthly close processes. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or audit experience with deep working knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 842).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience managing reconciliations and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel and Oracle Financials proficiency; data modeling and pivots.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting treatment and compliance for lease contracts under ASC 842.
• Leverage AI tools to review terms and accelerate document abstraction.
• Review ROU asset/liability schedules, journal entries, monthly opex accruals, and cash flow disclosures.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet and P&L variance analysis.
• Own month-end GL reconciliations and controllership reviews (SOX).
• Serve as accounting liaison during audits.
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline processes.
• Partner with Finance on ad hoc reporting and special projects.
