Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Knowledge of environmental permitting, regulations and testing methods.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead asbestos abatement and remediation projects from proposal through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
• Develop project estimates, proposals, and scopes of work in collaboration with technical and business development teams.
• Coordinate project activities with clients, contractors, subcontractors and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to manage expectations and satisfaction.
• Track project financial performance, including cost control, revenue forecasting and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, AHERA, NESHAP, state and local regulations.
• Submit required notifications and permit documentation.
• Monitor air clearance testing requirements and project closeout documentation.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site investigations, collect and evaluate data, and prepare reports.
• Communicate with regulatory authorities and address project-specific requirements.
• Review and approve timesheets, reports, and client documentation; ensure timely submission of deliverables.
• Support employee development through training, mentorship, and performance feedback; participate in hiring and onboarding.
• Ensure all activities adhere to company safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with identifying add-on or follow-on work opportunities through client engagement and field visibility.
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, laboratory, safety and operational teams.
