Job summary
EcoSafe Abatement LLC seeks an Asbestos Abatement Worker to perform hands-on removal and remediation on residential, commercial, and industrial projects in Grand Junction and throughout Colorado. You will work under a qualified supervisor, following site-specific plans, OSHA requirements, EPA regulations, and CDPHE rules to ensure safe, compliant project completion.
Travel to Colorado sites as needed. This role requires physical labor and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Completion of PA-accredited asbestos worker training and CDPHE certification.
- 6 months to 1 year of asbestos abatement or related construction experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain close attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily asbestos abatement tasks under supervisor direction.
- Follow OSHA requirements, EPA asbestos requirements, and CDPHE requirements.
- Assist with setup and teardown of containment systems and site barricades.
- Remove asbestos-containing materials using approved techniques and hand tools.
