Job summary

EcoSafe Abatement LLC — An asbestos abatement team, seeking an Asbestos Abatement Worker to perform removal and remediation on residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Responsibilities include following site-specific plans and regulatory requirements for safe, compliant project completion.

The role requires training and certification, with travel across Colorado. A focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement supports career growth and advancement within the team.

Qualifications

• Completion of PA-accredited asbestos worker training and Colorado/CDPHE certification.
• Six months to one year of asbestos abatement or related construction/demolition experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily asbestos abatement tasks under supervisor direction.
• Follow OSHA standards, EPA asbestos requirements, EPA NESHAP regulations, and CDPHE requirements.
• Assist with setup and teardown of containment systems and decontamination units.
• Remove asbestos-containing materials using approved techniques and tools.
• Operate and maintain abatement equipment and PPE according to safety procedures.
• Participate in fit-testing, medical evaluations, and respirator protection activities.
• Follow decontamination procedures and properly bag, label, and stage waste.
• Travel to project sites throughout Colorado as needed.
