Job summary

The State of South Carolina seeks a Work Management Business Analyst for the Office of Implementation and Support within the South Carolina Department of Education. The role drives Asana governance, workflow design, and reporting infrastructure to improve cross‑agency project delivery and accountability.

You will partner with program offices and IT teams to elicit requirements, map processes, and implement standardized workflows, forms, and automations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area; relevant experience may substitute.
• Two years of professional experience in business analysis, IT project coordination, workflow management, or process improvement; public sector experience preferred.
• Experience with enterprise work management or project tracking platforms (Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Asana workspace governance including naming conventions, project templates, and user access controls.
• Translate operational needs into structured Asana workflows, project plans, and reporting configurations.
• Design and maintain Asana dashboards, portfolios, and reporting views for real-time visibility.
