Job summary

South Carolina Department of Education seeks a Work Management Business Analyst to join the Office of Implementation and Support. This role focuses on governance of Asana, designing workflows, and enabling efficient project delivery across the agency.

The position requires a mix of business analysis, process improvement, and change management in a government IT context, with strong stakeholder engagement and training responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; year-for-year experience may substitute for the degree.
• Proficiency in business process analysis techniques incl. process mapping, requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and workflow documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical workflows to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders; government or public sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Asana platform governance and administration: maintain naming conventions, templates, fields, and access controls.
• Analyze and document existing processes; translate requirements into structured Asana workflows, project plans, and reporting configurations.
• Design, build, and refine Asana Forms for standardization of IT service requests and cross-division work routing.
• Design and maintain dashboards, portfolios, and reporting views for real-time visibility; collaborate with data/analytics teams.
