Job summary

Wabash Griffin, AR is seeking a Material Planner to manage daily production picks, review BOMs for material availability, and convert planned orders into production orders. You will monitor inventory, coordinate with purchasing, and support line planners across shifts.

The role requires proficiency with AS400, strong problem solving, and willingness to work overtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pre-employment drug screen and PIV training required.
• Experience with BOMs, inventory counts, and production scheduling preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, math, and verbal skills.
• Ability to learn and use AS400 and related software.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage daily production picks.
• Review BOMs to ensure material availability.
• Convert planned orders to production orders.
• Communicate daily critical parts to Purchasing.
• Enter MSR/CCR for product issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and correct discrepancies.
• Identify excess materials and coordinate returns.
• Assist with shortages and coordinate with teams.
