Job summary

University of California, Berkeley seeks a highly organized, strategic professional to manage the Arts Research Center (ARC) programs and partnerships. You will work closely with the Faculty Director to advance ARC’s vision and public programming, fellowships, and workshops.

Responsibilities include coordinating budgets, events, donor relations, and communications while supervising student staff and interns. A Bachelor’s degree and campus policy familiarity are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
  • Ability to manage diverse programs and partnerships.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, contracts, and grants processes.
  • Familiarity with campus policies and governance.
  • Proven program management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage ARC programs and initiatives under the Faculty Director.
  • Develop program plans, timelines, partnerships, and implementation strategies.
  • Oversee event and program logistics, and represent ARC on and off campus.
  • Monitor budgets and conduct financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate on grant and philanthropic funding opportunities and stewardship.
  • Coordinate ARC communications and audience-engagement activities.
