Job summary

North Carolina Arts Council seeks an Arts Learning Coordinator to support statewide educator professional development and manage registration, contracts, and logistics. The hybrid role involves coordinating communications with educators, artists, and Fellows while helping with marketing for Arts Learning initiatives.

Ideal candidates bring event coordination experience, comfort with digital tools (Teams, Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint), and a collaborative approach to arts education across NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in art, English, one of the performing arts, or arts administration.
• Two years of experience in arts program administration or development work.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics for professional development institutes, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
• Support A+ Fellows and plan faculty events for PD experiences.
• Plan summer training institutes for A+ Schools and PD opportunities for educators.
• Provide technical assistance and respond to school queries; guide needs assessments.
• Track progress of A+ network schools and maintain programming data records.
