Job summary

Studio in a School seeks an experienced Associate Manager, Bloomberg Arts Internship: College (Implementation) to plan and implement a paid internship program for college students across seven cities. The role emphasizes career readiness, arts engagement, and student-centered supervision of interns and staff.

The Associate Manager reports to the Director and serves in a full-time, exempt capacity. The position involves coordinating workshops, evaluating program outcomes, and ensuring smooth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, education, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with program coordination and understanding of career development.
  • Proficiency using project management or workflow software (Asana, Airtable, Google Workspace, MS 365 including Planner, Monday.com or Trello).
  • Proficiency using data management programs, including Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Execute program timelines and workplans for the summer program in seven cities.
  • Support program evaluation data collection with Internship Programs colleagues.
  • Lead pre-program planning including recruitment materials and event representation.
  • Organize intern-worksite matching, including project information collection.
  • Coordinate workshops and cultural excursions planning.
  • Oversee hiring of part-time seasonal staff and onboarding.
  • Supervise part-time staff and support day-of PD workshops.
  • Assist in timesheet approvals for mentors and interns.
  • Research for program improvement across worksites and vendors.
