Job summary

Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel, Milwaukee, seeks an experienced Events Manager to lead planning and on-site execution for corporate meetings, weddings, art openings, performances, and social events. You will partner with clients, sales teams, and vendors to translate visions into detailed plans and timelines.

You'll manage budgets, ensure flawless execution across culinary, AV, and front-office teams, and serve as the on-site liaison.

Qualifications

• 2 years of event management experience in hotel/venue setting.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience creating BEOs, floor plans, timelines and contracts.
• Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with creative thinking.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and execution of corporate meetings, weddings, and events.
• Collaborate with clients, sales, and vendors to turn visions into detailed plans.
• Develop timelines, diagrams, BEOs, and on-site logistics.
• Coordinate culinary, banquet, AV, and front office for flawless events.
• Manage budgets, billing, and post-event reporting.
• Act as on-site client contact with leadership and problem solving.
