Job summary

The Education Coordinator at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts serves as a school and afterschool program liaison, coordinating Education programs and marketing for the Education Department.

Responsibilities include scheduling the Kravis-On-The-Road Series, supporting in-school-time presentations, coordinating arts-related initiatives, and assisting with transportation, billing, and announcements as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and prior experience in performing arts management/administration preferred.
• Experience working with students, parents and teaching artists in a professional context.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Professional, outgoing and positive demeanor.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and facilitates the Kravis-On-The-Road Series; transports crew and equipment.
• Supports Senior Director of Education in in-school-time presentation planning.
• Coordinates Arts Ambassadors program to support in-school-time presentation utilization.
• Promotes and ensures filling of all in-school-time performances.
• Coordinates Charter and District bus transportation for education programming; handles billing.
• Presents in-school-time performance announcements as needed.
• Coordinates Kravis On Broadway Youth Initiative and Teaching Artist workshops; runs Student Workshops and Master Classes.
• Coordinates Broadway Reach program, Education Appreciation Nights, and Kravis Center Dream Awards.
• Collaborates with Music Director to facilitate music aspects of Dream Awards rehearsals and performances.
• Gathers all Education Programs Brochure assets.
• Supports Senior Director of Education with special projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
