Job summary

ARSICAULT Bakery in San Francisco's Richmond district is seeking bakers to join our expanding team. We bake baguettes and naturally leavened breads, with an early start at 4:30 am and a schedule of five consecutive work days with two days off. You will report to our bread manager as part of a dedicated bakery crew.

We value 1–3 years of experience, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well with others. Certification to work in the U.S. and a Food Handlers Certificate are required.

Qualifications

• Impeccable punctuality
• 1 to 3 years experience baking slow mixed artisanal bread.
• Math and computer skills to be able to adjust and scale recipes in Excel.
• Ability to lift and carry 50-pound bags of flour.
• Always be ready to interact/communicate with every single person in the organization.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Food Handlers Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Bake baguettes and naturally leavened breads per recipes.
• Train and share breadmaking knowledge with the team.
• Follow a tight schedule and work the 4:30 am shift.
• Report to the bread manager and collaborate with other bakery staff.
