Job summary

Some specialty coatings work may include decorative details, such as stenciling, gold leafing and faux finishes on historic buildings and private residences.

Responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, varnish and decorative coatings to residential, commercial and industrial surfaces and structures.
• Select the best paint or finish for each surface, considering safety, durability, method of application and customer desires.
• Install and hang wallpapers, fabrics and heavy-duty production vinyl wall coverings.
