Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have completed Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program and/or passed a meat skills test.
• Must be proficient in ordering for the meat and seafood departments.
• Must project a clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with store needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare precise and high-quality cuts of meat and seafood.
• Maintain department conditions including ordering, inventory, and production.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers.
• Represent Big Y’s culture and mission to customers.
• Ensure food safety standards are followed in meat/seafood areas.
