Job summary

You will deliver exceptional customer service, explain product differences to shoppers, and follow recipes to maintain quality and presentation. Maintain sanitation, rotate stock, and assist with opening/closing duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail experience with strong customer service is required.
• Ideal candidate has knowledge of artisan cheese and/or food production.
• Able to multi-task and handle varied duties in a fast-paced setting.
• Must maintain quality, freshness, and attractive presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing specialty cheese items (mozzarella, pimento, spreads).
• Provide outstanding customer service and respond to questions.
• Explain differences between products and communicate value to customers.
• Follow recipes to ensure high quality taste and presentation.
• Package, wrap, label, and rotate products, keeping display neat.
• Maintain department cleanliness, supplies, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as scheduled.
