Job summary

ShopRite of Millville is seeking a Cake Decorator to support the Bakery Manager with baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging, filling, and decorating of pastries and breads. The role emphasizes maintaining a neat, clean department and providing a pleasant customer experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include following recipes, adhering to safety and QA standards, stocking and labeling products, and assisting in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to assist Bakery Manager.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Bakery area clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintain sanitation and QA standards.
• Follow recipes and decoration specifications.
• Rotate merchandise for freshness and accurate signage.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Perform duties in accordance with safety and company policies.
