Qualifications

• 3+ years bakery experience in a specialized setting.
• Minimum 6 months in scratch mixing, shaping and baking.
• Working knowledge of baking equipment set-up, cleaning, operation, maintenance.
• Familiarity with H-E-B systems (PC, symbol, scales, label machine).
• Strong customer service, communication and writing skills.
• Completion of food sanitation and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with bakery products and purchases.
• Produce breads and pastries from scratch and bake to spec.
• Maintain product quality and proper storage.
• Train future Artisan Bread Experts, Bakers and Fryers.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety compliance; uphold dating policy.
• Support inventory control and back storage organization.
