Ralph Brennan Bakery in New Orleans is seeking a dedicated Bread Baker to produce a range of breads for restaurants, hotels, cafes, and groceries. This role requires starting at 3 a.m. and working weekends to meet daily production schedules.

You will operate and maintain baking equipment, maintain high-quality flavor and texture, and collaborate with the team to ensure on-time delivery. Health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) with match are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional baking experience (artisan or high-volume preferred).
• Knowledge of dough fermentation, mixing techniques, and baking processes.
• Ability to work early mornings and be punctual and reliable.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and a passion for baking.

Responsibilities

• Produce a range of bread products from scratch, including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking.
• Follow established recipes and production schedules to ensure consistency and quality.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment, including mixers, proofers, and ovens.
• Ensure bread meets the highest standards for flavor, texture, and appearance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with bakers to meet daily production needs and timelines.
