Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc in Bee Cave, TX is seeking a Bakery/Production Team Member to prepare, bake, decorate, and stock breads and pastries while delivering friendly service. You will train staff, plan for seasonal events, and ensure product quality and safety on the shop floor.

Hours are hourly with a focus on flexible schedules, including nights and weekends. The role emphasizes customer engagement, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety standards, in a fast-paced retail bakery

Qualifications

• Knowledge of artisan breads and pastries, including cake decorating.
• Demonstrates positive attitude, energy, and passion for baking the best breads and pastries.
• Basic computer skills; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality breads and pastries.
• Produces doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars.
• Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products.
• Stocks dry products.
• Develops new recipes and production techniques for seasonal variance and high productivity.
• Trains production personnel to high standards.
• Performs production planning and forecasting for events/holidays.
• Maintains production modules in the Datapax system.
• Arrives on time and participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety according to procedures.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Reports safety hazards and other duties as needed.
