Bashas’ is hiring Bakers in Phoenix to perform a wide range of bakery duties, emphasizing food safety, sanitation, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced store setting.

You will assist with inventory, pricing, and display of bakery goods, rotate stock, and support decorators with cake icing and personalization. Eligible candidates must be 18+, with 21+ for alcohol-serving roles; competitive weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol.
• Standing for long periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, weighing, proofing, baking, frying, decorating and merchandising quality bakery products.
• Loading and unloading the oven with proper temperatures and durations.
• Scaling cakes and cupcakes, icing rolls, breads and cookies.
• Assisting in ordering and receiving bakery products and supplies.
• Controlling inventory and out-of-stocks, shrink and supplies.
• Maintaining clean benches, production areas, storage, and coolers/freezers.
• Wrapping, boxing, weighing, slicing and stocking bakery products.
• Assisting decorators with cake personalization.
