Job summary

Raley's in Phoenix, AZ seeks a dedicated Baker to perform a wide range of bakery tasks, uphold food safety, and provide exceptional customer service. You will participate in production, merchandising, and stocking while maintaining clean workspaces and following Bashas’ recipes.

You’ll assist in decorating, pricing, and inventory control, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced store environment. Must be 18+; 21+ for alcohol service. This role offers a friendly, team-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old; 21 for any position that serves alcohol.
• Food safety and sanitation requirements apply to bakery operations.
• Experience in retail or bakery production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, weighing, proofing, baking, decorating and merchandising baked goods.
• Load/unload ovens; monitor temperatures and bake times for varieties.
• Scale cakes/cupcakes, ice rolls and cookies; assist in pricing and labeling.
• Assist in ordering and receiving bakery products and supplies.
• Control inventory; manage out-of-stocks and shrinkage.
• Maintain clean and organized production area, shelves, and coolers.
• Wrap, box, weigh, slice, finish and stock bakery items; rotate as needed.
• Assist decorators with cake personalization and icing.
